About Moha
My name is Moha, short for Mohamed in Berber (Amazigh). I’m originally from Nkob, a small village in the Zagora region of southern Morocco. I grew up surrounded by desert landscapes, mountains, and the strong sense of community that defines Amazigh culture. a culture built on hospitality, respect, and connection. Later, I moved to Marrakech to continue my university studies, where I started working part-time in tourism. What began as a student job soon turned into a passion. I was inspired by meeting travelers from around the world and sharing with them the real Morocco. its traditions, its people, and its hidden gems. That passion led me to create Amnzou Holidays. The word Amnzou comes from the Amazigh (Berber) language and means “the first-born child in the family.” It symbolizes new beginnings, discovery, and the deep connection to one’s roots, values that guide everything we do.
